Some suggestions:

Take your bike on the ferry from Naples, Salerno, Civitavecchia or Genoa to Messina or Milazzo, then set off on one of the many special routes there are to choose from.

Here are just a few options that will take a minimum of 3 hours:

Tour of Vulcano

Cycle up to “Piano” plateau and marvel at the spectacular view over the “Gran Cratere” (Great Crater), then go down to the small village of Gelso with its lighthouse and beautiful, quiet, black sand beach, before heading along easier terrain towards “Valle dei Mostri” (Monster Valley) on Vulcanello.

Tour of Lipari

An exciting trip to the ancient castle, or fortress, dating back around 6000 years, built on the summit of the acropolis on a cliff 50m above the Tyrrhenian Sea. Take a look around “Pignataro” port before heading back to Vulcano.

Tour of Capo Milazzo

One of the most enchanting landscapes in the province of Messina awaits you on this tour, thanks to wonderful views over the Aeolian archipelago, lush Mediterranean vegetation and a rugged coastline.

For Cyclists

The Cyclist's diet

The athlete’s diet is most similar to the Mediterranean diet. Thanks to a wide variety of foods and high-quality raw materials, it provides all the right nutrients needed before, during and after a ride. Our restaurant offers sports enthusiasts: a hearty breakfast, packed lunch on request, afternoon snacks when they return to the resort, and energy drinks. The cyclist’s menu has been prepared by our Chef, Carmelo Dalfino.

The Resort has two large parking areas with bicycle racks for residents and non-residents.
